Comfort AccessThe F30-platform M3 (F80) and M4 (F82/F83) use the same key architecture as standard F30. Special-coloured M fobs available; standard fobs work identically.
M3 F80 and M4 F82When the FEM or BDC itself fails, the symptoms include "Key not detected," intermittent immobiliser issues, comfort-access not working. We diagnose, repair where possible, or adapt a used module to your VIN.
FEM/BDC module faultsLate F30 facelift cars can have the BMW Display Key (the one with a screen). Programming is similar but the fob is more expensive. We can programme either option — standard fob or display key.
