VAG long codingAfter module replacement, FEM/BDC swap, or feature retrofit, your BMW's vehicle order needs updating so the car records what's now fitted. We update the VO and I-level (integration level) so all modules stay in sync.
Module swaps coveredBMW coding is powerful but unforgiving — wrong values can disable features or cause warning lights. Every job is read, planned, coded, then verified. You see the result working before we leave.
First step is to back up the current coding so we can revert if needed. We then identify which modules need changing — usually the head unit, the FRM (lighting), the JBE (body), the cluster, or the central gateway depending on the retrofit.
Using the same manufacturer-level software the dealer uses, we make the required coding changes to each affected module. Coding values are precise — wrong values cause warning lights or disabled features, so we work methodically and verify each step.
